For as long as these forces have existed, their hosts have pursued opposing agendas, plunging the world into a relentless conflict that has endured for generations.
Aniya Rowan, the daughter of the well-known warrior Editharsk Rowan, uncovers a truth that will change her life forever. She learns that her father had been defeated in battle, and that she herself is destined to become the next Veylin: the new host of The Positive Genetic. Unfortunately, Aniya discovers this truth a full year after her father’s death, only to realize that this knowledge has been deliberately hidden from the world as well.
While the world’s ignorance of her existence may serve as a temporary advantage, Aniya will eventually come to understand just how far behind she truly is in fulfilling her destiny as the next-generation Veylin.
